One evening last week while I was busy packing for camping and Elroy was working on the shed, Mackenzie & Cole decided to make us a treat! We were told not to go into the kitchen and they busily prepared peanut butter & cracker sandwiches, chips, apples, candies and chocolate milk complete with straws. When they were ready they led us into the kitchen with our eyes closed and unveiled the feast they had prepared (or should I say Mackenzie prepared). Cole was busy on guard duty most of the time! Along with the snacks were two notes - one for Mom and one for Dad!
The note for Mom said: We know you are always doing things for us so we thought we'd do something nice for you - Love Mac & Cole. The note for Dad said: We know how hard you are working on the shed and we know how much you like peanut butter and crackers so we made this for you! We were so proud of them for being so thoughtful and thinking of others!

Those kids of yours are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e!! What a sweet thing they did. Makes you forget all the not so adorable things hey?!! Hope you guys are well. I was thinking we should maybe set up a cousin family letter? Might be a nice way for us all to keep up with what eachother is up to. Let me know what you think. Take care
